New York City could get 2-3 feet of snow Monday
night into Tuesday morning. Snowstorm Juno is expected to be one of the biggest
storms to hit the city. Mayor de Blasio and other officials advise residents to
not travel and take precaution.
"This could be a storm the likes of which we
have never seen before," de Blasio stated in a conference on Sunday.
Delays at major airports are expected. Garbage and
recycling pickup is suspended for Monday and Tuesday as the Department of
Sanitation prepares over 2,000 plows, and salt equipment in lieu of the storm.
NYC schools are open on Monday but might be closed on Tuesday.
The storm is also expected to affect much of the
east coast including Boston, New Jersey, Hartford and Pennsylvania.
