New York Comic Con

The Jacob Javits Center was filled with comics, anime, movies, games, autographs, and all the costumes you could think of as New York Comic Con was in full swing from October 9th -12th. Over 150,000 people atttended panels from Disney's Big Hero 6 treated fans to clips of movie, while FOX's Gotham took to the stage for Q&A on Sunday. Other panels included CrunchyRoll, Sesame Street, Marvel and Avatar: The Last Airbender. The showroom had a wide variety of superhero merchandise, more comics, plush toys, buttons and cosplay. Fans dressed up as characters from Deadpool and Batman to Bob's Burger's and Naruto. This year's The Block showcased exclusive toys and posters from artist. Attendees looking to get up close to their favorite illustrators, Artist Alley did not disappoint. Artist and illustrators who've worked on projects for DC Entertainment and Cartoon Network sketched head shots and full sketches. Some were for free; others for a cost. Yet for the amount of time the artist put into creating some of the well known arts for media, shelling out a few dollars was well worth it. New York Comic Con continued its tradition with fun and memories to last until next year's event.
